Cold radiators boiler repairs across West Essex and East Herts

One radiator cold? Bottom cold and top hot, or top cold and bottom hot? Each tells you something different about what's wrong. We diagnose by touch and by pressure, not by guesswork — and we fix it without changing your boiler if we don't need to.

Common questions

Top cold, bottom hot — what's that?

Air in the radiator. Usually a 30-second bleed sorts it. If the same radiator keeps re-airing, you may have a slow leak or a corrosion gas problem.

Bottom cold, top hot — what's that?

Sludge build-up at the bottom of the radiator. Often fixable with a powerflush or a dose of system cleaner. Whole-system sludge usually means a powerflush is the right call.
